One Health Summer School 17-28 August 2026

Are you a passionate scientist or young professional eager to tackle the complex challenges of infectious diseases in a changing climate? Join the One Health Summer School from 17-28 August 2026 in Rotterdam (the Netherlands) and Heidelberg (Germany) and deepen your understanding of the One Health methods and practical tools to study and address risks of infectious diseases. 

Why join?
Climate change and Nature-based Solutions (NbS) are reshaping ecosystems – and with them, the dynamics of infectious diseases. This 2-week immersive summer school brings together early-career researchers, students and practitioners to explore One Health approaches at the intersection of climate change, vector-borne diseases and NbS and equip you with fieldwork, lab and modelling approaches.

Who should apply?

Master’s and PhD students, and early-career professionals from health, veterinary, ecology, environmental sciences, data science, geography and related fields. 30 participants will be selected. Applications will open in January 2026 – stay tuned!
